Joe Green is a comedian by birth and a producer by trade. Born in New York City, Joe's love for laughter and a good time help to develop his skills in comedy from an early age. His love of music, dance and writing was realized at the school for the arts he attended. Life was no laughing matter though, after finding no work in the industry as a recent graduate of CCNY's Film School. Still his perseverance helped him to produce his first set of comedy skits with his own equipment.
He returned to college and honed his skills for two years volunteering at the college's student run TV station, SAME TV. There he breathed life into the defunct TV station by renovating with the station with the help of his two fellow schoolmates. Within three months, the station was up and running broadcasting 100% original programming with most production overseen by Joe. As Program Director and Studio Manager he discovered the unlimited possibilities for creativity in the world of Television by producing entertaining yet responsible programs to the masses.
He then went on to freelance, producing web content for various groups such as FashionLedge.com , Africast.tv , AskDoctorV.com and ElanArtist.com . In 2007, Joe established his own production company, Jupiter Leo Productions with the promise to produce more successful content in the future. Now with a strong hunger for comedy and success as producer, Joe uses his prior experiences as a springboard to propel his career. Joe Green's imagination now runs wild on the screen with his DVD, Joe's Green Comedy Vol. 1, bringing viewers into his world of laughter and entertainment.
One of his objectives is to give back to the community by teaching and also speaking to the youth about the importance of education and skills. One of his future goals is to start a non-profit organization that teaches media literacy and technical skills to the youth. When Joe is not working on his comedy skits he is usually busy helping his friends achieve their goals.
